James is available for projects on or off-site, working on projects all over the world. Either ad-hoc hourly, on day-rate, retainer or block bookings where available.
Providing a high-quality design and artworking service primarily for heritage, museum, retail and print projects. James has since built a unique reputation for being accurate, efficient, reliable, and proactive.
He has worked with many museum designers and fit-out contractors on projects throughout Europe, Asia and the United States. From six large galleries for the National Air & Space Museum in Washington DC, USA, with Haley Sharpe Design, to the Hong Kong Science Museum and Hong Kong History Museum exhibitions, with MET Studio and Chargeurs.
On projects such as this, the main challenges involve managing work-flow and keeping accurate track of graphic file status – around the delays of client approvals, artwork amends, and adjusting to revised graphic schedules caused by structural, material or client changes. All can be managed easily, stress-free, with swift and honest communication and a flexibility to adapt.
